Hi: I write Romance Fiction, Historical, Contemporary and am presently working on a suspense novel. I am new to the site and would love to have chats with other writers. This is a very big site and I am trying to learn to narrow it down.

There are separate forums for the genres you mentioned. Find them, read a few posts . . . join in the discussions. Newbie are as welcome as anyone else to voice their opinion, ask a question, or start a thread of their own (except stay away from the political forum until you're a little more familiar with the site). Also, feel free to join in the absolutely goofy waste of time known as Office Party; you'll get to know your fellow members that way (whether you'll want to know them or not is another matter ;-).
