the professor told them they would be responsible for reading five books, and that he would provide them with a list of authors from which they could choose.
then the professor ambled (ambled!) over to the lectern, took out his class notes and began ... "baker, black, brooks, carter, cook ... "

haggis scribbled feverishly to get down all the names, when he felt a tap on his shoulder.

the student in back of him whispered, "he's taking attendance."

Yes there are tons of grants!

SR should not have too much trouble, not a lot of reading.

It is a rigorous curriculum, he’ll be assigned an advisor or underboss. Plus he’ll get a mentor for things like wardrobe advice, where to eat on Arthur Ave. and kneecap stuff.

The first week is a little easier, NinaK. Slicing the earlobe comes before hand smashing. It allows the victim customer to feel the warmth dripping down...their heart speeds up and then they begin to think of all the other things to follow. That's when the...customer keeps it clamped or spills.
