After trying out Stronghold Kingdoms, the idea of MMORTS' do not appeal to me.

This looks terrible to me. I am a huge RTS fan. I played Age of Empires 2 religiously for like six years. I was really good at it. Wasn't quite as sold on Age of Empires 3 and was really hoping for a come back from Bonfire Studios and Robot Entertainment (the two companies formed from the ashes of Ensemble Studios). This is not what I was expecting. On the one hand, I understand that RTS games are generally memory and video card hogs and to make it into an MMO requires that cartoony style. On the other, it looks like the game is not progressing forward but backward.
Even the civilizations, Greek and Egyptian, are based on the original Age of Empires game.
It's going to take a lot to sell me on this but i love Age of Empires so I haven't given up hope.
