I read about this site on a blog about great writing forums. I've been creeping it for a little bit and decided that I would like to join the community, if only so I can meet people who share some similar interests.
As I am sure you have guessed, I am hoping to one day be an accomplished writer. Though I feel that I have been derailed by life, I would like to get back on track. At one point I was working at the local newspaper and loved the feel of the writing and of the deadlines, but unfortunately the hours were not conducive to my most important job, which is being a mom.
I am excited about the massive amounts of information on this site already. I think that I will be learning lots and I look forward to getting to know everyone!
