I said I'd hit 500. Actually wrote 584 new words that I haven't deleted.

Worked on Delicoius edits, got it up to around 3500, then cut it down to 3000.

School's back in. Roads are crap - thank you to whomever danced the snow dance in my area. Mr. D's working days. Put me down for another 500 and a short submission.

Hey guys, happy 2010.

I went AWOL for a bit there, mainly for holidays and without huge chunks of time in front of the computer.

I haven't written anything in ages, so really need to get back to it.

In Australia, it's summer and it's the season for heat waves, beaches, drunk and sun stroked white men, music festivals and such. And this was my inspiration for my zombie novella about fascist zombies.

Hopefully this will inspire me to get back to this project soon.

My goal this week is to write something

It's going to get really hot today, maybe 45 degrees Celsius or 113 Fahrenheit

Haha, and I actually hate beaches. Though it's not as nice as it sounds. It's probably too hot, with a chance of more bush fires like last year.

Yeah, I could perhaps deal with sunburn.

Think Slurpees are on the cards after lunch.

• 16k added to Paper Tigers

• Received 2 short story acceptances
• Received 1 poetry acceptance

Goals For This Week:

• 10k new words

Goal was for 500 and a short sub.

Wrote 1680 shiny new words -- most of them on Telepathy, which is veering away from being horror and leaning more toward horrorsmut, which seems to be where the muse's mind is lately. 382 of the 1680 were the ending of new horrorsmut short, tentatively called apartment 204.

Sent my other horrorsmut, Delicious, off to Three Crow Press for their February erotica issue yesterday, fingers crossed.

Started a FB page - kind of a self-sutaining blog wannabe thing - for my horror smut persona, Annie Duvall. Just about everybody on my personal FB page knows I write -- the childrens stories and that my other stories are "dark", but only a couple can handle the smut factor (sad, isn't it?). And since I was planning on a pen name for my smut, it just seemed the thing to do, the separate FB page.

Goals for this week... put me down for 750 new words.

Technically I made my goal from last week (1k new words on Razor and Blades). But the MS didn't actually grow by 1k because I hacked so much out along the way.

Goal this week: Finish revising the first 1/4 of R&B.
