Recalculating....
You guys actually schedule those? Wow. Ours are always fully random... *snicker*

We have to. Otherwise the office would collapse into utter chaos.

Worse, someone might be left out of the dance...

Walking around a hospital is exhausting. Time for a couch nap.

Anyway, I'll be at World Fantasy. It's only about a 6 hour drive for me. So, if anyone else comes, we can have a Cantina meet in the bar or something. (Which is better than Cantina meat.)

Cantina meat isn't that bad, if you don't think to much about where it came from or...never mind.

That is, according to google, a 79 hour drive for me. We'll see.

Six hours from Pittsburgh to Toronto?

You drive slow. :tongue

I could be tempted into this, seeing as it's practically in my backyard. The prospect of a Cantina-fest makes it that much more appealing.

No, no, no. Hipsters would never be anything so mainstream as "cool." They are beyond cool. They are...

I have never understood how hipsters reconcile their anti-corporate, anti-conformity stance with the fact that they all have iPads and iPhones. Despite the fact that they love irony, that one has always escaped them.

Hopefully she's there for the pre-launch phase of the Kricket Baby Module 2.

PLEASE tell me your cat is named, "His Lordship Mister Fluffy Buttons."

On a serious note, though, I hope everything is going well for you, Kricket!

Also, I do want to go to World Fantasy Con one of these days, but this year it coincides with Nekocon, which Etolus and I attend every year and are loathe to miss out on. Ah, well...

I so want to go to WFC sometime in my lifetime.

But right now, I don't have a car that can make the 14+ hour drive from Maryland. I can't afford the $300 train ticket. (Don't ask me to fly. I'm like Zephram Cockren in that respect.)

And this is before I start considering hotel rooms, meals, entry fees, passport costs...

Maybe I can talk a relative into making it my birthday present...

I misread that as Zeppelin Cockroach, and was momentarily terrified.

Good morning, all. My physical therapist tried to kill me today by adding some arm exercises to my routine. If only writing actually exercised the arms. :( Owie.

Congrats, Zan!~

 I actually screamed laughter when I read that. Your husband is the coolest!

Don't encourage him!

So, I've been editing for an e-pub. One of the authors I've been working with thanked me in her acknowledgements. It made me warm and fuzzy.

Awww that's awesome!

I just called my coworker by my cat's name.

How insulting. To the cat.

I may be able to drive up to Toronto. Done it before.

Gina, I'm tempted to ask if you want to car pool with a stranger. If we split gas it will cost something like 21cents in my Prius.

Bos, sorry, no tannin on my new seats or carpets. That would be dire. ;)

Sara, what precisely is your avie holding in her hands? Because.... well, I'm disturbed by the implications.

It's just a gun. Honest.

These are the times I really hate living so far away from everybody. :(

I just called my coworker by my cat's name.

Dr. Brent Kendall. Also, it's a girl.

I don't see why you shouldn't call a co-worker that.

Also, I haven't back-read but I want to send some hugs to 10 too. I'm guessing it's the stuff we've talked about in chat? :Hug2: Wish I could help. :(

I also wish I could give my love to 10 - I do give it via the interwebs, but I do wish some of us were there to help her out and get her some tea or something...

All my hugs and thoughts are with you, 10!

Kricket - that's hard work for a pregnant girl - I do not deny you the right to a nap. I have not yet begun my packing/cleaning (hard work for a fat girl) but I will probably join you in spirit after I've done a little more.

I think every muscle I have is strained. And it's getting impossible to walk in here with all the boxes and awkward furnitures arrangement....

The honeymoon is over at work. I now have meetings every morning. :D

And I'm estimating work on projects. Which I guess means I now own the tasks... It's like I belong here or something!

I guess it's more like 5 to Toronto... 3.5 to Buffalo.

And I'm fine with carpooling with strangers. I'm in the SCA. You don't get much stranger than that...

I should also make sure my passport isn't set to expire soon. I think I'm good until '14, but I'm not positive.

Geez, if World Fantasy Con Toronto turns into a Cantina Meetup, I may have to go on principle, and let the hubby go to Nekocon on his own. (!!)
