But I am thinking of the children. I am thinking if they engage in homosexuality early in life, then they can explore their sexuality without worrying about unintended, life-long consequences like unplanned pregnancy. Children deserve homosexuality. It's the healthier option at that age. Boy-girl relationships can come later.

Yes, children require two biological parents of opposite sexes to provide the genetic material for conception.
However, a loving home with two parental figures (no slight intended towards single parents, but it's easier when two share the responsibility) is more important than worrying about whether the biological parents are the ones the kids call Mom or Dad.

I wrote an op-ed piece called Foster the Children and it got put in Windy City Times this week. I'm just super excited about it, I already posted the link two other places so I won't here lol. But I give some info about the TV show The Fosters, some info about kids in foster care, and hope that things like this will actually make people realize that children can BENEFIT from a loving family, no matter what the genders are!

^I saw an ad for that show when we went to see the new Star Trek movie a few weeks ago--looks really interesting. Blended, non-traditional families are becoming a bit more prevalent in TV. Always a good thing.

With all the horrendous scandals about this church concerning children,they have absolutely NO business going in on LGBT folks about children and trying to use them as a way to deflect from their mess.
NONE.
The arrogant fuckery is astounding. Children entrusted to their care suffered terrible abuse and worse,the perpetrators were protected for decades and allowed to continue to prey on innocent babies,until some courageous folks started speaking up. A child needs loving parents,sexuality is of no concern or a limitation for a person providing that.There is an expression in the South known as clean your own porch.
They need to learn,live and practice it.

Oh God, what a horrible book. The only good thing, really, is that I think it's the only book I've ever seen for sale there with straight 1 star ratings across the board (except for the guy who gave it 5 stars because he said it would make perfect bonfire fuel).
