Editors Working Weekends

There must be something in the air this weekend. Between yesterday and today I got four editorial responses via email (one sale, one rejection, one maybe, and one notification that the market doesn't pay so I'll be resubmitting that one elsewhere). A couple of them came in really late on Sat. too. What's up with these editors working the weekend and burning the midnight oil? Hardy souls!

I think a lot of people (in the US, that is) took some time off during the schools' spring breaks this month, and are now trying to catch up.
