66 years ago today, Mrs. Barbara Franklin gave birth to a baby girl in South Memphis Tennessee, whom she and her husband, Rev. C.L. Franklin, named, "Aretha." And today, 66 years later, we can all look back on the great musical gift that little baby grew up to give the world. Which is what this thread is for.
