Geesh no--not yet. Although Hedgetrimmer noted that the metaphor would have worked better if it had been OVER a chess game (why didn't I think of that?). For now it goes in one of those lovely folders I have with a title and a premise . . . and that's about it. You know, for when I have TIME.

By the way, the cookies are not only delicious, they are calorie-free! Take as many as you like. There are more where those came from. :D

Congratulations to the winners! :hooray:I enjoyed participating in the KidLit contest, my first contest as I just joined AWC.

I can see the calibre of writing is very high here and all the stories were really good. Great stuff! I look forward to more fun and frolic. :snoopy:
