    Here's a sale from December:

Query Tracker lists another client with sales, Janet Lawler, though I don't know if Ms. Allen sold those.

    Screenland Literary Associates

Anyone know anything about Screenland Literary Associates? I found them at agentquery.com. Is agentquery a good source to use?

    Agent Query is great.

Here's my experience with Screenland...I queried them for one project, and they responded in the time they specified they would (six weeks, I think; it was a rejection). Then I queried them for a different project and never heard back.

Agent Query good, Screenland? Not so much.

I think she (paula allen) may be a one-woman shop. I queried using the online form four months ago, and status queried recently with no response. When agents don't respond at all, that, to me, a big red flag. I know some agents will only respond when they have interest, but if so, put that on your form. Don't say you'll respond within six weeks.

Who wants an agent that doesn't do what she says she's going to? Not me.

    Just my opinion, tho.
