I just queried a literary agent. This is the first time I feel like I really need to find an agent. For one I've sent out 7 children's pb manuscripts for 4 years...the rejections are getting old. And now I've written an "begin to read" chapter book (3 little stories in 3 little chapters). The publishers publishing these types of books will not accept unsolicited manuscripts. I guess it's time to get some help.

Good luck. I've tried similar kinds of 'easy reading' projects and been stuck for where to send them. Maybe it's time to dust them down and send them to agents too.

I have a few easy readers shelved because of lack of interest. It seems odd since our library is filled with easy reader type books and beginning chapter books... maybe it's all about getting your foot in the door. Best of luck to you with the agent query! :)

Please let us know what sort of response you get from the query. Good luck!
