Merry Merry Merry Frickin' Christmas by Frickin' A. It basically embodies all that is obnoxious and great about us New England sports fans.

Alley Oop, by the Hollywood Argyles

and on a different note,

D.O.A., by Bloodgood

(didn't see that one coming, did ya? :D sorry, but it's Dead Man's Curve--already laugh-worthy enough--taken to the ultimate end of bad taste)
D.O.A was by Bloodrock (it's certainly a Very Serious and Explicit Song about a man who was in an accident and is dying - it's about as funny as a heart attack), and it was very likely the most popular song never played on commercial radio. I've heard that it was sometimes played on some college stations, but I didn't hear it on the ones I listened to at the time.

D.O.A was from their second album. I had heard one or two songs from Bloodrock's first album on "underground FM" radio when I was but 10 or 12 years old - one of those, "Gotta Find A Way," was one of the earlier recordings to feature a backwards voice, spoken during the organ solo. What did the voice say when you played the record backwards? I won't quote it (I don't recall the exact words but do remember the gist of it), but it IS funny.

Just about anything by Richard Cheese. That guy's the coolest. I especially love his version of Disturbed's "The Sickness," & Nirvana's "Rape Me."
Now I gotta dig up Lounge Against The Machine! :)

Hello Mudda, Hello Faddu, here I 'am at camp grenada, and they say it's entertaining, and they say we'll have some fun if it stops raining.... I think that was by Alan Sherman, I could be wrong though, I crack up every time I here it. ( which hasn't been for a long time.....)

Nothing is like the Benny Lava Song. Tears may be induced. (unless of course you are overly sensitive.) This is a crazy Indian music video, big dance numbers outside, super cool dude with sunglasses, and subtitled lyrics that just might not be accurate... check it out... let me know if you cry... (of course there is a small group that will not cry, but they probably don't even think that punting small poodles is funny, so what can you do...)

Your Brains, with the accompanying World of Warcraft video.

All we wanna do is eat your brains
We're not unreasonable
I mean no one's gonna eat your eyes

Lifts my mood every time! :D

We'll murder them all amid laughter and merriment.
Except for the few we take home to experiment.
My pulse will be quickenin'
With each drop of strychnine
We feed to a pigeon.
It just takes a smidgen!
To poison a pigeon in the park.

Bob Dylan once did a song called 'Ugliest Girl in the world'

'The woman that I love she got a hook in her nose,
Her eyebrows meet, she wears second hand clothes,
she speaks with a stutter and she walks with a hop,
Don't know why I love her but I just can't stop,
I'm in love with the ugliest girl in the world...'

BTW - much earlier in the thread, someone was saying something about 'Seasons in the Sun'
That was done by Terry Jacks

I will admit to being somewhat expert on 60's and 70's pop, rock and one-hit wonders.

No don't give a dose to the one you love most
Give her some marmalade give her some toast
You can give her the willings or give her the blues
But the dose that you give her will get back to you

The Vatican Rag, by Tom Lehrer. "Genuflect, genuflect, genuflect."

My Humps, by the Black Eyed Peas. WHY did someone write, much less perform this one? Possible the stupidest pop song ever written, therefore hilarious.

It was made to parody! You should see Alanis Morissette's video. :)
