I hope that writing found everyone well and good last week!

I believe my goal was 1000 words for last week. I only wrote about 500 words.

This week:
-- 1000 words.

(it's just something that happens when you have offspring) We stay the same age, but those suckers keep growing.

Officially, from this past week to the end of the school year in the middle of May 2010, my Sunday night through Thursday writing time is from 9 - 10 pm.

Ms. Tiger gave me an additional goal of 500 words --

Total word count for the week is 2012. My Roses short first draft is finished and presently out for editing.

Goals for next week - 1500 new words to wips and to followup on whatever changes editing requires on Roses.

takes bell abuse and sneakiness...I had it coming. Too much redbull or not enough. Now I'm cranky. Where is the sheep when you need one?

Drat, drat, drat! I'm going to end up on the wrong end of someone's roasting spit this week (I've been busy with the new job and too brain dead to do much of anything after work except relax over a few beers - lots and lots and lots of writing to be made up after the 6 weeks of absolute hell involved in setting this new store up).

Well, where’s Ben’s FAILED stamp when I need it?

I didn’t meet either of my goals. I keep tinkering with my prompt story and didn’t touch the novel. I did write a teeny blog post about my moisturizing cream. And that was about it….

The kids go back to school next week then I should have more time to write.

Goals:
Finish and put up my prompt story
Finish and sub the fantasy that I also keep tinkering with.

Next week I will hit it hard again with bigger and better goals--promise.

I'm depressed. For obvious reasons. Slept fitfully and therefore am cranky as all get-out. My chair was covered with work, and people are panicking in emails about stuff that has to be done now now now.

I am therefore going to get coffee and think about how to deal with the sudden heightening of sexual innuendo between my MC and her hero-worshipping companion. He suddenly kissed her while she's dealing with drug-induced nightmare of the Redeemers physically ripping her unborn baby out of her. (Which sort of happened way back in chapter 4, except that it was a torture-induced miscarriage.)

I may be depressed, but I'm still the Mistress of Blood. :e2teeth:
