I've finally gotten out of the dark ages (snow screwed up the internet so it was hit and miss every day). So now that the new year is here I'm up for some serious wordage. I'm going to be hitting several projects so my goal is to write at least 250 each day - regardless. It's a page, double -spaced. Nothing too dramatic but forward progress. Today I managed to kick out 800. Felt damned good!

Here's to everyone nailing their goals and seeing some publication this year!!!

Squee!

A small publisher just offered me a contract for the horror!

Turnip greens, brackish water, and strawberry tart with "not too much" rat in it in my cell for all!

Ironically, the theme most people associated with Snoopy and the gang is actually titled "Linus and Lucy".... just thought I'd throw that out there.

Same Psychosis...different day.

Congrats...

....but who puts rats in a strawberry tart? No, you use roaches...those little black things are roaches.

I've edited 262 pages out of 323. Both Haggis and Shadow Ferret contributed to this new editation. I'm submitting it to the Amazon thing in February.

When I'm finished, I'm going to use the same info that Shadow Ferret (Obey the Ferret) and Haggis(Obey the Chihuahua) imparted for Deciding into Shiva. But first I'm going to finish and edit for a friend.

I've also gotten a pile of tax stuff staring at me. It doesn't phase me. I've come to accept that I've probably been an accountant of some type in every life since 18,472 BCE. You can see some of my writings in the Smithsonian.

They're from the early Phonecian era, but hey...you can already see my trademark.....

What? Huh. Go to work?
Yikes!

only got another 1k or so in... *hangs head in shame*

trying to compensate for this poor showing with at least another 1 or 2 k today...

But some of the time was spent on the need to brainstorm a term. A suggestion from unconventional sources worked, but needed tweaking. :D

Oh, crap. I forgot to post yesterday.

On the other hand, Jaycinth forgot to pass out the gruel and turnips too. So maybe I'm not all that late.

Got a total of 500 words in (below goal) this past week and one subbie. And I even started a blog. Yes, yes I did.

And I read a very nice revision of a couple of chapters in someone's work. Didn't even have to make a mark on the paper. :)

So, may I have some stagnant water with my dirt this week?

Horror Hounds,

There won't be gruel
Or turnips for a stretch...

Lady Jay is off slaying dragons and conjuring demons.

But there will be push-ups and roundhouses:D

no, but you can have roundhouses if you like?
For partial output only 20 push-ups. Lets see some good numbers next week or my friends are going to be paying you a visit:e2chain::e2teeth:

Good enthusiasm to set 1 to 2 K today--make sure to post results tonight-- and it doesn't count toward next weeks word count:D
--pleased you could find an unconventional source--with such awesome ideas:e2headban

Flattery is wonderful but it does not save you from 30 push-ups

before you say it--it will take Haggis 3 times as long to do his.

More output, I say!:whip::whip::whip:

How will it take him three times as long? With those tiny arms he's practically on the ground already.

Hey Haggis--need a step ladder--or you could make Boston closer to your size--

I was going to offer to kneel, while he gets on a stepstool. That ought to get him close enough.

Or I can just paint a face on my ankles. :D
