I don't use the acronym OMG because I consider it overdone.

However, there are exceptions.

THE BRIAN KEENE talks about MY book and how he tried to hand-sell it at the World Horror 2016 convention. BRIAN KEENE! MY BOOK!

I can get hit by a truck now and die happy!

Here's the link to the podcast on my Kate Morgan FB page. Scroll to 9:44.

OMG.

The anthology I'm in just got released on Kindle. It's clown horror. Enjoy.
Cool, Ted! I'm excited to see it. :hooray:

Had 2 Honorable mentions in Ellen Datlow's long list for Best Horror of the Year #8, Which is nice.

Over the years I've had many stories make Ellen's long list in its various incarnations. Most of the time I've thought of them as a "Not quite good enough" report from teacher.

But I suppose I'm getting older - I was happy to see those two Carnacki mentions this year. I might never get a story into the actual "Best Horror of the Year" book now, but I've - finally - maybe - come to terms with that.

Contract signed. I've sold a novel, THE BOATHOUSE to DarkFuse ( my 7th novel for them). A ghost story set during a Newfoundland hurricane.

I'm a longtime lurker and rarely post, but I'm excited.

Got the check yesterday for my first fiction sale at the magical 6¢ per word. The story "Litany for the Departed" will appear in See the Elephant Magazine in 2017.
