That sucks. I remember I got one on my birthday this year, but then again it's not like the agency knew that so that's not as bad.

I think that means that the person is miffed s/he's working on Thanksgiving, and wants to spread the bad vibes around. So sorry, WriterGirl! :(

Ugh, a bday one is not fun either!

LOL, that is probably true! I'd be upset if I was working on T-day too.

Oh, that seriously sucks! Sorry.

Thank you!

I did! I didn't let the email spoil my day. :)

But it was definitely strange!

Awwww! :( A belated I'm sorry to you! I agree with Pat - they must've been trying to make everyone else as miserable as they were.

I did take extra dessert! :) And am eating more today, yummy! ;)

Ya, I really hope no one gets one on Christmas Day either! Yuck! Or on New Year's Day. What a great way to start off the year.

Hmm... On Thanksgiving I was thankful that I didn't get TWO e-mail rejections, but just one. Yippee! :p

Writergirll2007,

I can feel for you. Maybe more than one person was lacking Thanksgiving spirit--I got two email rejections on Thursday, and one more on the Sunday of T-giving weekend. Didn't spoil the weekend though, because I didn't open them until late Sunday night. Bummer of a way to start a new week though.

Care to share a piece of consolation pumpkin pie?

Oh, ouch. But on the bright side, you don't want to work with such a grumpy agent anyway, right? I'm glad you didn't let it spoil your day!

Maybe she sent it the day before, but there was a delay or something?

Most likely she probably wasn't thinking. I doubt she was purposely trying to ruin it for you, but not thinking about what message sending a rejection on a national holiday might send is equally as silly.

Here's hoping you get an acceptance on Christmas, or whatever your holiday of choice is.

Oh no! You beat me on Thanksgiving rejections! That is not a happy accomplishment to make. :( But thanks for the pumpkin pie offer! :)

Very good point!

I know! Maybe she doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving and forgot it was a holiday? LOL

Just wanted to share that I did NOT get a rejection on Christmas! Happily the holiday rejection didn't become a holiday tradition. ;)
