I love both of those!
all children should be exposed to the Ramones!
Well, she's right. It is stupid. Because Ozzy is his nickname. His real name is John. I never call him Ozzy Osbourne, just Ozzy.Last night we were eating dinner and I mentioned something about Ozzy Osbourne. My 11-year-old daughter giggled and said "what's his name?" I stared at her indignantly and said slowly "Ozzy Osbourne!" She giggled again and said "That's a stupid name."
My kids love the Ramones too: "We're a Happy Family We're a Happy Family!"
I like Rachid Taha singing The Clash's "Rock the Casbah." A French-Arab singing "Sharif don't like it/Thinks it's not kosher!" is irresistible to me.
How about just about anything by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones?
Earth Jam
These guys constantly amaze me.
That's Bela Fleck hisself, and he calls it The Electric Banjitar. They're completely nuts, and unbelievably talented. I have an album of theirs called Left of Cool, and it has to be the most appropriate title I've ever come across. Is that guy playing an electric banjo?
I have only two words for you: Ozzy. Osbourne. I rest my case.
Depending on what kind of mood I'm trying to get into
Avenged Sevenfold - Bat Country
Bob Marley - No Woman, No Cry
Gloria Estefan - Hoy
Peter Gabriel - In Your Eyes
Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing
Johnny Lange - Paint It Black (yeah, I know, but I like it better than the Stones)
Rodrigo y Gabriela - Diablo Rojo http://youtube.com/watch?v=9KBgg-hrtyo&feature=related
