So romantic. Makes me want to write about love-- and that's something that I value.

I have several. One is "I Am Moana" from, obviously, Moana. I always feel empowered listening to her realize who she is!

Another is from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and it's called "You'll Play Your Part." Makes me think that my time will come eventually.

The third is from the Sofia the First/Elena of Avalor crossover episode called "My Time." Just listen to it, and you'll see why.

If you can't tell, music from animated TV/movies is a big inspiration. Yeah, I'm an adult, but I still love cartoons. *shrugs* What can you do?

I have a confession. I listen to the Sirius XM channel "Liquid Metal" when heading for the mountain. Loud.

Yeah, swing music does get me "amped". Been listening to it since I was a kid, and I mean a kid, a toddler, and even then it was out of date. But not for me, not then and not now. It's how I learned about music.
