Momentum Quarterly / The Write Side Up

Anybody know anything about this new ezine? One of my short stories is supposed to appear, but I've been waiting and waiting, and I have not seen it, nor can I get the editors to respond to emails asking when it will be published.

I know someone who had a piece printed and it was soon after being submitted. I would keep trying to contact them. This is what I hate about this industry, little or no communication, no accurate information, breakdowns all around. Everyone expects the writer to be professional and adhere to strict guidelines if you don't want to end up in the slush pile but theres no reciprocal consideration. All you can do now is keep trying to make contact.

There's no sign of an October issue, and recent posts on their forum are spam. Doesn't bode well.

Bit like someone yelling, "Next!" when you're auditioning for a role, no? It's like this in all of the arts. Keep honing your skills and keep knocking on doors. Just make sure they're the right doors.

Last issue July '07. Lulu store and WriteSideUp.net still active, but momentumquarterly.com expired last month.
