Hi All,

I know this might not be strictly applicable to this Forum, but I wasn't sure where else to put it.

Does anyone have any experience with, or advice on, The Association of Writers and Writing Programs? The Annual Conference is in my city in a few weeks, and I'm curious what impression anyone might have of the organization.

Thanks for any thoughts,
Chacounne

Never heard of them.

You might want to check out their website and find out which editors and publishers will be there, to make sure it suits your present needs.

I believe this is the one I belonged to many years ago--their newsletter is in newspaper format. I didn't get much out of it--from what I recall it was geared toward literary writing.

Just saw that they've upgraded to a magazine style newsletter called "Writer's Chronicle."

It's a tertiary level professional organization. Legit, but not major.
