This is a rare condition of a few mental patients. All they can think about is the gas xeno. Everything the do is concerned with this one aspect of the earth's atmosphere. For e.g. When baking they worry if the xeno gas will have a diverse affect on their cake, pie, cookies etc.

the word literally means for one logic towards xeno.

Between the 14th century to the middle of the 18th century, there existed an obscure religious sect in western Europe who believed that they could achieve salvation by saturating and staining the doors of their homes with foul-smelling substances such as swine urine and rancid potato soup, then inhale the stench. The more foul-smelling the stain, the greater the chance of going to paradise. The belief system of this eccentric sect was known as stainstenchalism.

Only die hard Star Trek fans will know what klingblatt means. For everyone else, a klingblatt is a member of an alien race similiar to the Klingons, but with bladder problems, who frequently makes contact and visits The Enterprise under urgent circumstances, begging immediately to use the high-tech washrooms.

The wooden retainer worn to bed by President George Washington. Designed by his wife Martha ( women weren't allowed to hold patents in those days) it was said to muffle his ear splitting snoring.

Flumuster -- A bellows-like device used by British diplomats in the Victorian era. It was used to spread a coating of ragweed pollen over boardroom tables. When discussions got animated, the foreign dignitaries would go into sneezing fits; the theory was that they'd agree to anything just to end negotiations.

Ironically, this device worked well against everyone but the Americans, who were largely immune due to previous exposure. It's largely to blame for the change in relative fortunes between the USA and the UK.

    flumuster

i am sure all of you are familiar with the old new england custom of bundling. the flumuster is a variation of this charming practise picked up by the pilgrims while living in holland. a flumus is a walloonish device--an inflated bladder usually from a goat or roughly goat sized animal. the pilgrim parents would plant the inflated flumus in the featherbed between the heavily clothed teens. as they began to fondle and pet, their combined weight would cause the flumus to burst. at the sound of the bursting flumus the pilgrim father would crash into the bedroom with his blunderbus leveled at the young male and plug his buckled hat from his head. sometimes the well flumustered pilgrim couple was well into their thirties before they could successfully achieve coitus. the more jovial pilgrim parents often filled the flumus with a warm blood pudding. they jokingly told the young couple that their genitalia had exploded by the will of god.

    snarffle

A verb, originally derived from the Belgian word snarffler, meaning "to quickly wolf down or devour a waffle" (with or without syrup). In North America, the usage of this verb has broadened over time, to include pancakes and French toast as well as Belgian waffles, although purists frown on such a liberal use of snarffle.
