Whoa ... I saw this on another board.

We are looking for writers to develop research reports on product sectors of the medical device industry. Reports would be approx 100 pages in length including tables and charts. The focus is Asia manufacturers on products such as medical gloves. We estimate the work is a couple of weeks at your own pace. We will supply the reserch material but you may have some research work to do. The renumeration is USD $ 1,000. Please let me know if you are interested.

Umm, doesn't $1,000 sound a bit low for 100 pages? :Wha:

It would depend on the research involved and the brainpower required for what you have to write, but that sounds about right to me, especially considering they're providing you with the numbers. That stuff can be put into graphs in a matter of minutes if you know what you're doing with MS Office.

250 words a page x 100 pages = 25,000 words.

$1,000/25,000 words = .04 cents a word. I've been paid better, but I've also been paid quite a bit less. If you know about medical technology and research, I can think of worse ways to spend two weeks worth of writing.
