I sent an email over a month ago asking for an update on my submission from January, but have still heard nothing. Should I send another email or not worry?

AnnikaHTDC - I did that too and got sweet FA back. I suspect they ignore update emails. Mine took about 3 months to a form rejection. But...good luck!

Well, hello..... (Och! I tried to sound like Leslie Philips, and it came out like Inspector Taggart.)

Goood Luck! I got a very brief rejection after 3 months, so it'll be a wee wait yet, but you never know......

Anyone know what their response times are like lately? I subbed in March and not heard anything yet.

In the room next to the noisy ice machine, for all
I also subbed in March. After five months I sent a follow up e-mail inquiring about the status of the submission. Never received a response, so I sent another one, which also didn't receive a response. I'm wondering, does that mean my e-mails didn't arrive, or is it fairly typical for them not to respond?

According to Duotrope's page for Snowbooks:

"Most recent response reported was received on 04 Oct 2011.
Responses have been received for submissions sent as recently as 28 Jun 2011."

So either they don't read them in order, or they at least didn't hate our subs out of hand and are still reading them!

Duotrope now says:

"Most recent response reported was received on 05 Dec 2011.
Responses have been received for submissions sent as recently as 20 Oct 2011"

I'm starting to think they may have lost my sub, or they already sent an R and I didn't receive it for some reason.

Did you guys with the March subs ever hear anything?

Pete, if I were you I'd resend your submission, with a little note explaining that it's a repeat as you've not heard from them. I don't think that would cause you any problems.
