Not adept with links either... (How do you guys do that?)

I'm mildly surprised that a writing web site has people who didn't read your comment. ;)

Here are some instructions. (In the demonstration - click on green arrow to go to next section.)

Thanks. I also have to admit I'm very adept with forums either and sometimes have trouble finding the posts I've made. So I've only just now found your answer.

Thanks again

I loved the film clip to Stupid Girls by Pink, especially the bit where she's attempting to wash the car.
Makes me laugh. I'm mature like that ;)

Also, that one video from that group A-Ha in the 80s, the one where ti was done in pencil sketch. I detest the song, don't even remember the name of it, but the video was pretty neat for its time.

Probably Rush's Roll the Bones or Nobody's Hero. I also love the live stuff that are made into a music video. I have R30 and another of Rush's DVDs of their concerts, and I enjoy that just fine.

Past where the river bends, past where the silo st
Duran Duran have the coolest/silliest videos ever.

Ramstein has a video that takes place in an anthill. The ants all go to an Antstein concert and they rock out...it's great.

Blur has a great video wherein a little milk carton comes to life and runs around.

That video where the monkeys have human faces is cool and bizarre.

I saw a video wherein the song was being sung by buttholes.

"You Got Lucky" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - there's the coolest freaking movie that was never made in that video.

"Rock and Roll High School" by the Ramones - Dee Dee blowing up the school (and everything else, apparently) is just too freaking funny.

I love the rapping skeleton in "Roll The Bones." And for some reason I always liked the video of "Distant Early Warning," too.

And btw, the A-Ha song is "Take On Me." An old favorite of mine, too...

Led Zeppelin never technically did any videos, but I still love watching Jimmy Page in The Song Remains the Same.

One of the best songs ever written.

One of the best performances ever given.

And there aint a musician alive who wouldn't love what happens to Bruce at the end.

Really what rock and roll is about for dudes in one ten second snapshot in time.

Sorry,

Have to do it.

Michael Jackson "Thriller"

The opening poem by Vincent Price, king of terror
The dance seen with the Zombies
A storyline/video other than people playing instruments (one of the first videos to do this)
Incredible.

Mel...

p.s. deep down you know i'm right! :)

Hey, it's easy to forget that Michael Jackson was cool, once upon a time.

Oh and I don't have the link. And I'm not gonna search. Cuz I'm just plain lazy. But remember "The Reflex" by Duran Duran? Remember? It was a live performance video that actually worked! Special effect was well done(almost seamless at a time when such effects were in their infancy), and the fans were right proper fans. Looking up in awe. Okay I choose to believe that one of those girls, like myself, was watching and thinking Nick Rhodes is a very pretty lady but that's me...
Not a big Duran[SUP]2[/SUP] fan, but that was a good concert video. And wassisface the guitar player can really cut loose when they let him.

ETA: Here's a group and tune from the 80s I really like:

The Tubes -- Talk to you Later

Hey, when I was sixteen (in 1984, okay) I was going to marry Nick Rhodes - or so I fancied. Either him or Jimmy Page or Joey Ramone.

I'll confess to being guilty of loving VH1's the 80's and VH1's Classic.
