Here, there, everywhere.
It was either that or Yogi Bear, which none of us wanted to see. The story itself is quite obvious and the portuguese accents were not amusing, but there were some funny jokes in there.

The kidlets didn't like the fact there were no princesses.

Hi,

Oddly enough the last movie I watched was in French -- but the subtitles didn't download properly! We got the idea though. It was called Heartbreaker (French: L'arnacœur) and is about a man who is a professional breakup artist. Let's say a father doesn't like his daughter's boyfriend. The main character will move in and convince the woman to end the relationship. Good movie and a nice break from the norm.

Did a double dip at the theater over the weekend...

The Adjustment Bureau -- better than I thought it'd be

Rango -- eh. It's a good looking film with some funny Johnny Depp moments, but I thought it was about fifteen minutes too long.

I just watched the Greek movie Dogtooth, and was really excited to see it based on the good reviews and outlandish plot. Unfortunately, though, I found it incredibly dull -- like watching paint dry, honestly. It wasn't for me.

Saw Adjustment Bureau this week, too. And while I didn't think it was anything all that memorable, I did enjoy it.

Saw 127 hours today. Good flick, but seemed to be missing something.

In the theater - "The Social Network" which I loved, and then "The Rite", which scared the "beJesus" out of me! Seriously. I shouldn't see horror movies, even if Anthony Hopkins, Ciaran Hinds and Rutger Hauer are in them (all fav actors of mine).

Loved it. Terrific new twist to a love story.

Loved Damon and Blunt also.

Since I force my wife to watch anything with the word zombie in it, last night, we watched Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. And I laughed my arse off at the bit when they land in Dover and Kevin Costner says they'll be with his dad by nightfall.

Take Me Home Tonight - Didn't expect it to be very good...but when a movie is horrible after 2 buckets of alcohol, then you know it should have never been made.

You won't believe me. I just saw the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie from 1992! The cast was entirely different with Kristy Swanson as Buffy and she kicked butt. I'm afraid of her now, but then I'm a vampire.

Tron, the recent one. I thought it was good, maybe because I don't remember the 1984 version.
