3:10 to Yuma. I really didn't expect to like the movie as much as I did. I'm definitely not a huge fan of Christian Bale or Russell Crowe, but I loved this movie. Love, love, love.

Just watched it yesterday. Great movie.

Took the kids to see UP tonight. I was surprised at how much of tearjerker it was, but a really good movie.

I've been looking forward to it for a while--the cast at the theatre where I work blew up a few hundred balloons and the theatre's been decorated for a couple of weeks now. :)

Saw Ghosts of Girlfriends past last week, and really enjoyed it.

Terminator Salvation
.
The worst part of it- incredibly huge plot holes.

The best part of it- the Harry Potter trailer.

Hahaha, yeah so I've heard that the plot holes are indeed a huge part of what kills the movie. That and the fact that Christian Bale still believes himself to be in The Dark Knight, and talks all deep and macho.
Haven't watched it myself. I would though for Bryce Dallas Howard and Anton Yelchin.

Yeah, it was strange...Bale didn't so much as act, as grunt his way through the movie. I expected more from the leader of the human resistance. Hell, even T3's John Conner was a more developed character.

The Hangover. It wasn't a total loss. It also wasn't as good as some 'critics' claimed either.

Being able to watch movies from Netflix,
right over the computer is great. The
last four days I've watched;

Defiance (rented) - 4 stars
Righteous Kill - 3 stars (I am being generous)
In the Electric Mist - 3 stars
Tell no One (French) - 5 stars
Before the Devil knows You're Dead - 4 stars

Terminator Salvation.

The romance between Sam Worthington and Moon Bloodgood - great name, I thought she was native American but she's Korean/American - was the only human thing about the movie. Christian Bale and the governor were wasted on me, and some parts of the movie looked like a Transformers trailer.

If they ever get a Terminator 5 off the ground, it'll have to be radically different if they want me to watch it.

Across the Universe. Eh. Not terrible. The music was good. But the plot was really trite and seemed to exist just to transition from one song to the next.

Despite the fact that I have a fierce crush on Jim Sturgess, I agree. If the movie wasn't as visually stunning, I think I would have given up on it.
