Do bookstore retailers or wholesalers send reports?

DeePower

Do bookstore retailers, other book retailers, or book distributors or wholesalers ever send bi-annual (twice a year) reports to publishers to let them know how many book sales the publishers have made?

Our distributor sends us monthly sales reports about every book we publish.

Have you tried contacting Ingrams to ask? That might be the easiest way to get the info.

If you simply want to know how many copies of a particular book has sold, you can call Ingram's automated system and enter the ISBN. They will tell you how many copies of that book they have sold in the past week and year to date.
