I queried Tamar on 5/6 and she responded with a form R today, 5/11. I think that's pretty fast...

I sent my initial query on 4/29/2009, to the [email protected] address. I received a partial request on 6/8/2009, which I sent off immediately. I just received a request for a full today, so that was a very quick five weeks. (Fingers crossed BIG TIME.) The full is going out in the mail tomorrow! All correspondence has been extremely kind and cordial, in keeping with everything I've read here.

Queried yesterday, got a form R today. Pretty quick.

Queried Ms. Rydzinski on 4/11/09, received a request for a partial on 4/13/09 (snail mailed it), and received a request for a full on 7/7/09. I'm crossing my fingers like mad because the more I hear about Ms. Rydzinski, the more impressed I become.

Queried 9/17 Nothing just yet, but it's still early.

Queried Laura 9/10, rejection today.

I got my form R today. We must be on the same query schedule, lol.

Anyone have any news to report here? I'm composing my query now...

I accidentally queried Laura instead of Tamar for a genre Laura doesn't rep but Tamar does, and got the expected rejection. Any idea whether that closes the door to Tamar, as well?

I just got a partial request too!

E-queried Tamar Rydzinski on 9/1 (included first 10 pages of ms) and received a request for a partial on 9/3.

@miamyselfandi:

I got the impression from their website that Tamar and Laura work very closely together so I would assume an R from one is an R from both. To be safe, I would wait at least 3 months before re-querying the same agency, even if you are addressing different agents.

The website does not list who reps who, but a quick search on PM shows, for example, that Jen Calonita is repped by Laura Dail.

Thanks for your feedback. I reread the rejection, and the use of "we" is pretty definite and I'm thinking I won't requery at all. Since I have several partials and fulls out, hopefully it will be a moot point.

I queried Ms. Rydzinski today w/ a realistic YA project, and I will update as soon as she responds. Good luck, everyone!
