Well, this video embedding stuff isn't working like I think it should. It either doesn't work at all or I'm doing something wrong.

Anyway, the song in the last post is live-on-the-internet just yesterday by Summer Russel from Texas. I think more people should hear her music.

This one's from four years ago (I saw some of the recording through live streaming, it seems like just last year), and features people you might have heard of. The album site is here:

Bang Your Head! Mental Health by Quiet Riot. It brings back happy memories from sophomore year in high school. It makes me think of great musical numbers that could be incorporated into the next Shakespearen comedy at our school
, where we incorporate random musical numbers.

I know a lot of people probably don't like this kind of stuff, but if you do, this is great. Johnny Carson introduces Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Frank Sinatra, in that order, and they all take the stage at the end. Corny or not, these guys had fun. Pretty sure that's the Count Basie Band led by Quincy Jones.

Holy thumping, Batman -- worth watching just for the Sammy Davis Jr. and drums thing! That man is an orchestra all by himself!

Gad, they all look so young....

I agree! Sammy's night. The drum thing, got you under my skin (at 30 mins in) And the impersonations on one for my baby, the guy was too much. I always feel a little bad for Dino in that company. Suave, cool, funny! But, I think a little outclassed.
