I'm Losing my Edge by LCD Soundsystem.

One of the best songs in the last 10 years, let alone one of the best bands in the past 20 years. Typically, when I listen to this song, I feel the same way. But not today, I'm actually getting shit done. Odd.

The Boxer - Simon and Garfunkel

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOkigFvxLrk

The lyrics and arrangement are truly sublime.
    From SOULLESS:
That got everybody smiling, even Punk. He sat apart from the rest of us, shoes and socks off, hunched over as he dug toenail gunk with his pocket knife.
“What you thinking, Punk?” I said. “You ain’t said nothing yet.”
Punk glanced up at me with one good eye. The other one was purple and nearly swollen shut, the latest love tap from his old man.
    “Don’t matter.”
“You’re right, it don’t, ” I said. “Tell us anyway.”
“All right. I say let the weirdo in,” he said. “He can take Billy’s place. We’ll never know the difference.” He threw Billy a half-cocked grin went back to digging.

The British Comics Database is growing. Or mutating. I'm not quite sure which, yet.
