Just watched "Cadillac Records" which is all about Muddy Waters and gang, and the birth of rock 'n' roll.

Now watching "Empire Records" which is a little more current (current as in the music being played, not when the movies were made) (they mentioned the year being 1999...).

Both movies are full of great music, though I don't know the names to most of the songs.

I've heard OF Tom Cochrane, but never heard his music.

    For me:

Cradle Of Filth - The Cult Of Venus Aversa. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZQPvrmouZM

I might have to put on Lilith Immaculate next, my favourite song on this new CD.

I've just discovered "The Other Man" by Sloan. It's been out 10 years, but I just moved north of the border last year, and they never played it in the states.

Love the harmonies. All hail power pop!

Scarlatti (D): Harpsichord Sonata in B Minor, K 270 Michael Lewin

Because I'm playing it for a recital and ... eh, I guess I feel like listening to it more? yeah, after five months of prep, this should NOT be happening... i should be sick of it.
