    Reporting Spam

Is anyone else getting spam solicitations from former member John Thompson, sometimes known as "Mister Poet", a PA author? I keep reporting them to spam@uce.gov, but they keep coming.

Report him to his ISP as well.

(I'm not 100% sure B&BC is the right forum for this thread....)

Send an abuse report to the originating domain. Many hosting companies have very strict anti-spam rules. They have an incentive: If one of their customers is caught spamming and they don't take immediate steps then their entire range of IP addresses can end up blacklisted. If the return address is a big ISP, you may be out of luck, but it still won't hurt to send an abuse report. If enough people complain then they might do something.

Reported to his domain. You're welcome to move this thread, of course, if there's a better fit somewhere.
