Not to rain on anyone's parade, but how is this and the 'date a tio boy' thread different than the Love Battles I used to host a year ago that were thought to be offensive by some and deleted (which did however lead to the ever popular Royalty for a Week thread).

Just curious....

Oh...I see. That obviously must be the difference. Thanks for clearing it up. A popularity contest started by a 'popular' person including 'popular' posters is very different than a popularity contest started by a less popular person including 'popular' posters. You're right -- it is much less 'offensive' that way. Carry on...
