How do I fix it?

I have 4oz of baking chocolate. Should I heat it up an put that in? Will that stiffen it up? It's more like frosting. I'm so mad. It was supposed to be given out as gifts tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that, Terri. I don't think you can fix it though. Maybe you can fridge it?

Here's a link that could help:

(I was tempted to make a joke about the 'stiffening' part though. But I didn't.) :D

Me too.

I've had the runs all day.

I don't know if it was the popcorn I ate yesterday or I caught a bug or something, but it's been back and forth to the bathroom all day.

I hate when my fudge doesn't set.

Merry Christmas everybody!!
:)

Corn syrup would probably be better than sugar, actually.

Or a blast of liquid oxygen.

It's been in the fridge for 3 days. I took it out to cut the kids a piece and it was frosting.

Tsuki- you're so funny.

I'll try sugar and heat it back up, I'll go to the link first.

It was easy fudge.

Thanks guys.

I haven't the slightest idea of what could help Terri, I'm sorry. I can barely make toast. Just wanted to give you this--:Hug2:

Can you buy some fudge from a cool bakery or candy shop somewhere?

Make some Jell-o shooters instead. They won't know the difference and even if they do, they won't care!

I'm sorry, I thought you were speaking euphemistically.

My mistake.

I really need to start reading posts.

That's my new year's resolution.

For post 10, 11 and 12

You freaks!

I don't think I let the sugar boil enough.

I'm going to reheat it with more chocolate. It that doesn't do it, fooey on the fudge.

That's what it was. I read on another site that you need to boil the condenced milk and sugar and butter for 5 minutes. My recipee said bring it to a boil and remove it from heat.

I'm going to the store and getting a can of sweetened condenced milk and if that doesn't harden it, then it's a lost cause. I'll start over with another recipee and eat it myself.

BRB, If I don't see ya's when I get back, night all! *kisses*

Pour it in a tin and ship it to me. I'll fix it. Fix it good. Call it charity.

Always cook my brownies so they come out so gooey the center flows like sauce.

Dust them in powdered sugar and let them cure, they well dry out naturally.

Lol- I'll do that, but now it looks like chocolate sauce you pour over ice cream.

I don't think the kid's teachers are getting fudge. But I could call it Terri's chocolate sauce. It'll warm up your ice cream!

Try a bit of cream of tartar. That's what they use in icing to harden it.

And I have some, cause I made snicker doodles too.

I already poured it in a dish. It's screaming leave me alone!

Oh, well. Thanks.

Completely sideways, man
Another thing that might work is reheating and stirring in chocolate chips till they're melted. It's a fudge travesty, but they'll harden when cooled and won't detract from the chocolate taste.
