Ooh! Angle story!

First time my husband said "I love you" went like this: I turned to him and said, "I love the way you look at this angle," and he said "I love you from all angles." Was kind of an adorable moment. So years later, I wrote him a little Valentine's Day note and had it printed in the newspaper classifieds. They changed it to:

I love you from all angels.

Obviously, they thought they were being clever and correcting my mistake. But "I love you from all angels" doesn't even make sense! I felt so haughty... like, "Do you have any idea who you're correcting? I'm a writer!"

Does he spend a great deal of his time gazing at geometric constructs? Didn't Ernie (on Sesame Streeet) join some kind of Triangle of the Month Club? I always thought that seemed a little cultish.
