I don't think anyone has listed my agent, Bob Mecoy. He worked as editor and senior editor at several of the big houses before jumping the desk to become an agent about ten or so years ago. He represents a wide variety of fiction, including fantasy and graphic novels.

Another wonderful agent I didn't see mentioned is Russ Galen.

According to Agent Query Mr Mecoy no longer represents Sci Fi or Fantasy.

I need to find more agents like this. My book is technically SF, but has substantial literary elements, set in the present day.

You might check in his thread in the agent recommendation thread and see what others have done. I contacted him through a referral, so that's not much help to you.

A good friend of mine who writes fantasy is also repped by Mr. Mecoy.

So that's two confirmed clients he's taken on for that genre, at least one in the last year. Whether that means Bob is no longer looking for fantasy, I have no idea. Beth, he does need to update his site. I'll put the bug in my friend's ear too...
