    The Underground Press

Just thought I'd post a heads-up, because another forum I visit frequently got spammed this morning by someone promoting this purported publisher.

I checked the website (theundergroundpress.co.uk), which features exactly one book (the same one being promoted in the spam), and has all the other major hallmarks of a site designed to prey on desperate authors, including a fee for being "published," and more of a focus on attracting writers than readers.

Gah. They may mean well, but will definitely be more hindrance than help to aspiring writers.

Still only the one book, which is pseudonymous. Looks like yet another self-pub trying to pretend it isn't.
