Nice work, Sage
Congrats on the 526, Canelle
Daniel - you're a trooper, that's still a respectable word count with such a full plate
nice work peartree ;)
Here's to getting back on track DL
Congrats on the 300 Esmae
Pterofan - technically, you still did a great job :D
Hey Magnus! I know you were busy this month - good to see you - and keep swimming!

Day 7: 72 words.
It was another day of checking off the responsibilities checklist - I'd love to do them all at once, but I'm just too tired, too much on my mind; had a housemate phone interview, and finished the 2nd javascript video.

3/3
& at least not as dead-tired as I was the last few days (but I"m still going to bed early)

Had a couple rough days and felt under the weather, but in the past few days I've written maybe 1200 words and gotten the manuscript to almost 27k. Not bad for the word count being 23k at the end of November (what a failed NaNo attempt!). A lot of good things going on for people around me, but so far, my own life is still stagnated and unable to move forward. Here's hoping for some good news in the coming weeks - I sure could use it. I'm nearly done with my read-through of book 2's first draft and have prepared the notes for what needs to be changed in the second draft. I also did some work on reformatting the paperback, so that it's updated and changed on Amazon.

Good luck with your writing goals, everyone!

Nice work Raindrop,
Nice work, Sage.

Pterofan - I know, those <100 days don't feel good…

Today is day 9 - I guess I reported day 8 as day 7… I got ahead of the blank page by 116 words today.

I did a little bit of the javascript training - and did a good self-care thing
3/3

I haven't been able to write anything for the past couple of days and I'm starting to feel really twitchy about it. I've got my revisions underway, but don't have a notebook to write them in, and the fantasy western idea I had didn't sound as cool as it did when I first wrote it down. *Sigh* Hoping to get outta this rut soon.

Keep on keeping on, Daniel
nice work, as usual, Sage
reeness!! Good to see you :)

Day 10, Layla v. Blank Page - a respectable 134 words, digital doc. A wee bit of my training video, and some responsibilities & self care.

I think I'll be in a scraping-by situation for a time. My schedule has changed a lot & that's taken a lot of my energy, and I have some big Responsibility things to deal with. I also have to get a certain amount of exercise because of chronic pain. And if I'm working 40 hours, exercising, training improve my earning, writing, and taking care of a big checklist of things I need to take care of, I'll have a hard time doing any of the social part of self care…

Ahhh. But I can only keep on keeping on. I really have noted that when I'm more relaxed I have produced up to about 600 words in a day. But for now, I'm just glad of every day I win vs the Blank Page.

today, 3/3 at least
keeping on keeping on

Day.... ... what is today? - 0 words. I'm not going to lie, the page has been winning. Or rather, less the page and more the plague. Last weekend it was headcolds; this week it was a stomach bug. At least the head colds did not count as auditions for a remake of the Exorcist.

I'm so glad you all are doing much, much better than I am.

Esmae, I hope you feel better soon!

I'm having so much fun with the countdown challenge. There's no way I can catch up (I'm 10 days late), but on the plus side it means I'm not under any pressure either. I've written a flash for Day 1, started a long "short story" for Day 2, and am roughly a third of the way through another short story for Day 3.

Apparently this adds up to 1600 new words today! Incredible.

You can totally catch up. Make some actual flash. I believe I was 8 days late one year when I started, and I ended on time.

On day 10, I wrote a 1847-word short story (what flash?), and that's it.

On day 11, I finished reading book #7, but I might not get a chance to write, since the prompt isn't up and I'm busy tonight.

Day 11 - A whole new scene! Okay, 50 words, vague notes about a scene I need to add, but it's more than I've managed in a while, so I'll take it.

Write hard, all!

I snuck in a 640-word short story for the Countdown, keeping me on track for a story a day.

Yeah, I said that on the heels of nearly a 2K story, so... I'm also the same girl who took a prompt for her write-in group, wrote 10K in 1 day for it, and launched books 2 & 3 in a trilogy from that story, so, hello, Kettle, my name's Pot.

I have done some <200-word ones before. Really, I have. My first year.
