Bluesnarfing and Bluejacking

Was eating dinner and watching Jeopardy when this clue came up that referenced Bluesnarfing and Bluejacking. Had never heard of either of these before, but a quick Google search pointed me to Wikipedia:

Just goes to show ya - be vigilant, with every piece of tech you own, including your phones!

Generally speaking, if you're not using Bluetooth, turn it off.

Most snarfing occurs via random scanning of local connections.

Remember that not just computers, laptops, smart phones and tablets have bluetooth; so do a lot of other devices of late.

Yup that’s one of the first things I did on my work laptop was disabling the Bluetooth.

Just scary the amount of tech savvy ya gotta have these days just to stay safe :(
