one of the funniest things i've ever watched is Steve Martins' 1979 standup routine.

what a genius.

My current favorites are Sarah Silverman, Tom Papa, and Wanda Sykes, but Richard Pryor is my favorite of all time. He did make me laugh, but he also touched my heart. Not sure exactly why that was.
