I wrote 1,999 words today, which makes me feel better - NaNo is coming, and I have to start getting used to substantial numbers.
And I finished early enough that I can take some time to read. I bought Marko Kloos' first Frontlines book last week, and ate it in two days. Have been itching all day to start the second.

I wrote around 1500 new words on Fireborn yesterday. Today was my mom's knee replacement surgery, and I've been awake since 5am. Running on fumes. And I have a migraine. So no words for meeeeeeeeee.

I am back, and damn, did I need that holiday. I not only managed to shed a ton of work stress, I also wrote over 12,000 words and cracked the 40k mark on this draft! Second day back at work and the stress is creeping back up, but I did manage to get another 400 or so yesterday and 300 ish this morning.
Well done to all of you on your progress to the end of this month!
