Several complaints have been filed with the Attorney General's office in IL and nothing has come out of it so far.

It is the same guy. I have done a lot of research. His law firms name is listed on the books Green Ivy bothered to copyright. His name is on there too. I found it on the copyright for Uno tries new food. You will find the information under the rights and permissions. Green Ivy is not mentioned. No where in my contract does it state that The Gray Law Group LTD woudl file my copyright. It stated Green Ivy would. They didn't do it. I filed it in June and recived the paper copy the other day in the mail.

From Mr Gray's LinkedIn profile:

For the last 7 years, I built a law firm that grew to include 4 attorneys and staff and serviced over 1,200 clients. During that period, we proudly protected clients' interests through litigation, transactions, and risk management. My proudest accomplishment, however, is that several former employees started in my office and developed their skills to the point where they are now employed at either Fortune 500 corporations or AmLaw 200 firms.

I recently sold the firm and am now seeking a corporate counsel position where I can apply all my experience in the law, supporting business teams, and collaborating with other attorneys and staff to develop our legal skills for the benefit of one fast-paced organization.

Good luck with that, Bob!

Crisse34, do you know anything more about the mysterious Jay Caliendo?

Considering that he's now in Florida, I'm not surprised. His current address is a virtual office space in Sarasota.

ETA: He is licensed to practice law in Indiana and his license is still in good standing (depending on the reciprocity rules of each state, his Indiana license may allow him to practice law in other states). His Indiana bar record shows no disciplinary history: https://courtapps.in.gov/rollofattorneys/Search/Detail/1f93103f-14b7-e011-9d34-02215e942453

I don't know if anyone has filed a complaint with Indiana's Disciplinary Commission, but here's the link in case someone wishes to do so: http://www.in.gov/judiciary/discipline/2373.htm
