Good evening everyone! Decided to finally roll the dice on a writing forum and landed here.

I have been writing as long as I can remember. Self-published my first novel back in June and have been wanting a place to bounce ideas around and maybe/hopefully pick up some tips.

Welcome! I am new too - but not nearly as far along into my writing as you are. I am envious that you have already completed a novel and published. I am still working on my first. Looking forward to getting to know you and maybe reading some of your work.

Completing a novel is incredibly cool, right? It's like you have this huge thing that you accomplished, just sitting there in your life, and forever from now on you'll be able to think about it if you ever get in one of those moods where you feel like you're not good at anything.

Absolutely it is. After working on it off and on for 7 years, it felt so satisfying to finish it and get it out there to share with others.
