Small War memoir; 1st draft completed.

I'm told the 1st draft is for me, the second is for the editor, and the third is for the Reader. Mine is about being a medic in Vietnam for 27 months and the subject matter is a pretty difficult. It took a while to write it down and then, when done, I left it. As a PhD scientist, I realize that my writing style is basically just recounting what happened. A friend asked "but how did you FEEL?" So that's what's going to go in the 2nd draft. Of anyone wants a copy of my first draft text me and I'll send it to you as a PDF. Getting a copy means you promise to read it and tell me what you think.
