Two New Publications! Plus update in post 13

Longshot Island has recently published two of my stories. One is a flash memoir called "A Worm Tale," and the other is a fantasy short titled "Feral Refrigerator."

    http://www.longshotisland.com/2017/0...-refrigerator/

In addition to that, since they've published me several times now, they want to feature me on their site. They're going with a photo and bio, along with all my stories thus far, and my fragile writer's ego is broadcasting joy.

Just wanted to share some happy news and encourage others to submit there. It's not like I'm famous or anything, and they accepted my work.

Congrats! I just read the worm story, and I love the part where she made up stories about them that were "weak on conflict". Heh.

Thanks so much, everyone! It's always a boost when your stories, y'know, actually get read. And it's incredibly cheering to be cheered.

    Thanks so much, everyone.

Okay, I've got an update on this. Longshot Island put up the feature link on me and did an interview as well.

    About the Author link: http://www.longshotisland.com/catalo...leen-townsend/

    Interview: http://www.longshotisland.com/2017/0...end-interview/

Okay, it's not the NYT. But still. Someone thought it was worth publishing me and then featuring me. I need all the validation I can get.
