I don't want to go on a derailing rant, but I have to say shows like this piss me off. One of the long standing arguments against gay marriage is the constant "sanctity of marriage" spiel. Where the hell is the sanctity to two strangers marrying for a reality tv show? Oh, it's because their heterosexual.
I hate all those reality shows and the cycle that keeps putting them out there. I doubt they're "real" at all. It's just a way for the producers to make money without springing for real actors.
It's fluffy T.V. junkfood for me. I haven't watched this season, but have seen past seasons. They rarely seem to work out, but every once in a while, the marriage does.
It's good to have guilty pleasures. I NEED my T.V. junkfood after a stressful semester. Or, when my younger brother passed, I binged Catfish on MTV. Sometimes, the mind just needs comfort food.
