I don't normally make this sort of post, but I've reached a milestone that felt important.
After half a year of rejections, I've gotten an acceptance for a half-hour radio play.
I've always loved radio drama, and hoped to hear a script of mine produced. A friend told me of a possible market (not sure if it's okay to link to it here), and I gave it a try.
So, so far, I've sold short stories, a serial fiction column, a (very short) film script, and an audio script. Haven't yet gotten over the hump of writing a feature-length script and a novel, but lately it's begun feeling like a certainty I will.
Fortunately, I'm only 56. Plenty of time!
