Maybe you could get your plot going again by having your main character carjack a GMC. The symbolic in-joke alone might stimulate creativity.
Merri - there's always next year for the holiday story. No more need to stress and rush it out before it's ready. Now you've got time to polish it up all nice and shiny and self-pub around next November.
One of those stories I'm working on involves an artist who draws comic books. I just realized, if I can finish, edit and sub that one by the end of December, assuming the publisher takes it, it should be out around April, right in time for Free Comic Book Day in May. Not that I expect--or hope for--much of a crossover between comic book fans and readers of erotic M/M romance ...
