You're welcome to ask questions, of course. But it might be more useful if you work out a list of questions to ask about the various methods you've asked about, so that you can at least do your own basic evaluations of the services on offer. For example:
Have you ever bought a book because of one of their promotions?
Do you know anyone who has?
What do they plan on doing for you, if you sign up?
What do you hope will happen as a result?
How likely is this to happen?
Have the best-selling authors in your genre used these services?
If not, what do they use?
How do those best-sellers market and promote their own works?
Would my books benefit from their methods?
Could my books be improved on and if so, would that improve sales?
Can I afford to lose all the money I put into this?
